I bet you all that if Jeremy Lin was Filipino, all the Filipinos would hop on the bandwagon in an instant. Of course he’s going to have support from all the Chinese/Asian people, we’re damn proud that there’s someone who’s over six feet tall AND in the NBA. Plus he’s got a Harvard degree to boot? How many other players in the NBA have a Harvard degree in Economics? 

Not to mention he’s from Palo Alto and helped his high school team win a state championship. No big deal.
